1. Organisation identity
ClickWave Pte. Ltd. ("ClickWave", "we", "us") operates clickwave.life and provides professional marketing and brand communications services from 26 Hongkong Street, #03-01, Singapore 059668. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore and guidance from the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).
Our Data Protection Officer may be reached at [email protected] for any matter relating to this policy or your personal data.
2. Scope
This policy applies to personal data collected through our website, contact forms, email correspondence, engagement proposals, client projects and advisory relationships. It does not apply to third-party websites linked from our pages except where we explicitly state otherwise.
3. Personal data we collect
We may collect the following categories of personal data depending on your interaction with us:
- Identity and contact data: name, job title, company name, email address, telephone number and business address.
- Enquiry data: messages submitted through our contact form, enquiry type selections and correspondence history.
- Engagement data: materials you provide for positioning, campaign architecture or creative direction projects, meeting notes, feedback and approval records.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information and cookie identifiers where applicable and consented.
- Consent records: timestamps and selections related to PDPA consent checkboxes and cookie preferences.
We do not collect sensitive personal data through our public website. If a client engagement requires handling of sensitive categories, we address this explicitly in the engagement proposal and a separate data handling schedule.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We collect and use personal data for purposes that a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, including:
- Responding to enquiries and preparing proposals for professional services.
- Delivering positioning, campaign architecture, creative direction and content system engagements as scoped.
- Managing client relationships and contractual administration where applicable.
- Complying with legal obligations under Singapore law.
- Improving our website and understanding aggregate visitor patterns where analytics cookies are consented.
- Protecting our systems against abuse, including rate limiting of form submissions.
Under the PDPA, we rely primarily on consent (explicit checkbox on forms), contractual necessity for client engagements and legitimate interests for security logging. You may withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
5. Consent
Our contact form includes an unticked consent checkbox confirming that you agree to us contacting you about your enquiry under the PDPA. Submission without this consent is rejected. Cookie preferences are managed through our cookie banner with storage for six months as described in our cookie policy.
For client engagements, additional consent or contractual terms may apply to materials shared for campaign work. We do not use pre-ticked boxes for any consent collection on this website.
6. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data to:
- Service providers who host our website, process form submissions or provide email delivery — under confidentiality obligations.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers or accountants when required.
- Authorities when required by applicable law or court order.
Where we engage production partners during a client project, disclosure is limited to what the engagement scope requires and is governed by contractual confidentiality terms.
7. Third-party embeds — Google Maps
A Google Maps embed appears on every page of this website to show our studio location. When the map loads, Google may collect technical data such as IP address, device information and interaction data according to Google's own policies. We do not control Google's processing. You may block third-party cookies in your browser, which may prevent the map from rendering; our address remains visible in text on every page. We include Google Maps in our cookie vendor list and recommend reviewing Google's privacy documentation if you interact with the embed.
8. International transfers
Our primary operations and hosting orientation are Singapore-focused. Where service providers process data outside Singapore, we take steps reasonably required under the PDPA to ensure a comparable standard of protection, including contractual safeguards where appropriate.
9. Retention
Enquiry records are retained for up to twenty-four months unless a business relationship continues. Client project materials are retained for the duration of the engagement and up to seven years thereafter for legal and professional record-keeping purposes unless a shorter period is agreed in writing. Cookie consent records follow the six-month period stated in our cookie policy. Server logs for security rate limiting are rotated on a short cycle and not used for profiling.
10. Security
We implement administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we hold. These include HTTPS delivery, access controls on internal systems, honeypot and rate limiting on public forms and error logging without exposing personal data in browser-visible messages. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we encourage clients to use secure channels when sharing confidential campaign materials.
11. Your rights under the PDPA
Subject to exceptions under the PDPA, you have the right to:
- Request access to personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
- Request information about how your data has been used or disclosed within the preceding year.
Submit requests to [email protected]. We respond within a reasonable period prescribed by the PDPA. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) in Singapore.
12. Children
Our services and website are directed at business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under eighteen years of age through our contact channels.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical or business changes. The "Last updated" date at the top will change accordingly. Material changes affecting existing clients will be communicated through appropriate channels.
